WHO ARE YOU?
My name is Mar, and I founded a company called Hello Creatividad 7 years ago. It’s a company dedicated to online training, where we try to boost the creativity within every individual. Additionally, I have 4 kids and we live in the city centre of Madrid.
WHAT ARE YOUR GO-TO CLOTHING BASICS?
I am always out and about, that’s why my go-to clothing basics are those which allow me to follow along with my lifestyle. Jeans, sneakers, and sweaters. I actually don’t pay much attention to fashion trends, I like to dress comfortably and feel good.
WHAT IS FASHION FOR YOU?
To me, fashion is something that has to be at the service and form of living of each person, not the other way around.
HOW HAS YOUR WAY OF DRESSING, CHANGED OVER THE YEARS?
A while back, I would wear tighter clothes and high heels, but right now they are not at sight in my closet. I go for everyday comfort.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR WHEN BUYING CLOTHES?
It has to be a basic, comfortable and timeless item. I like finding clothing items that I can wear to work, as well as out for dinner. Also, I like being able to combine those items in order to put either an informal or rather stylish outfit together.
DO YOU FIND AESTHETICS IMPORTANT?
I think they are essential, in fact, at my company we dedicate to training the eye through the courses we offer. We receive so many stimuli throughout the day, that I find it very important to present everything we do, in a way that is not only pleasing at sight but also catches the eye.
WHAT MADE YOU CHOSE THE ENTREPRENEUR PATH?
To me, being an entrepreneur is a synonym of having freedom. I’ve always been a restless person, so choosing this path came naturally. The biggest trigger for becoming an entrepreneur was becoming a mother. I wanted to have the freedom of having my own company in order to have flexible schedules and enjoy being a professional while also being in motherhood.
HOW DO YOU LIKE THE TINY BIG SISTER?
What I like best, is that it’s a brand that actually understands all women. We all need clothes that are comfortable and trendy at the same time. Clothing items that allow you to roam around a city, but also make you feel attractive.
DO YOU IDENTIFY WITH THEIR IMAGE?
Their image is SO cool. Aside from all the graphic aspects and animation of images, something I really like seeing on their website, are the photos of models posing and showing the clothes but presented in a different way, combining different types of angles, styles and elegant poses which also have a kind of blurred focus. This is something which I find characteristic from Tiny.
FAVORITE ITEMS FROM THE COLLECTION
Without a doubt, I’d choose the sweater that blends merino wool and cotton. Not only are they gorgeous but I’ve been lucky to wear them and verify their softness (something which is unusual in items with wool). The bambula shirt has a unique texture which (I think) adds a special touch to any outfit. Also, I’ve fallen for the “CATA” tote bag. Black leather and round, a basic must-have with a whole lot of style!
